Cristina Mercuri from the Università per Stranieri di Perugia visits the Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation

On May 23, 2024, Cristina Mercuri, head of the Research Service of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia (Italy), visited the facilities of the Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation. The visit was sponsored by the Autonomous Centre for Training and Innovation (CAFI) and is part of a mobility of the Erasmus+ programme. 

Mercuri, with extensive experience in the planning, management and justification of national and international projects, was received by Inmaculada Fernández Teijeiro, deputy director general of Inclusion and Educational Innovation from the Galician Ministry of Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training. During the meeting, possible opportunities for collaboration with the Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation were explored.

With the aim of promoting research and innovation in the educational field, ongoing projects were presented, as well as examples of good practices. The current challenges of both institutions and the educational sector in general were analysed. The Università per Stranieri di Perugia is creating and designing training courses supported by intelligent technologies, designed to improve the teaching-learning experience, personalize training itineraries and encourage pedagogical innovation.
