On 3 April, a delegation of around 30 school inspectors and headteachers from the Upper Franconia region in the federal state of Bavaria (Germany) visited the Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation (CIEDix) to learn more about the initiatives being developed at the centre during the current academic year.
Throughout the visit, the CIEDix team shared several key projects focused on integrating artificial intelligence into education, enhancing STEAM competencies, and creating innovative teaching resources. Highlights included the Ágora Dixital platform, the audiovisual portal Lenzo, and the Liga Ágora network of school science fairs – all clear examples of the centre’s commitment to evidence-based educational innovation.
The visit provided an enriching opportunity for dialogue between professionals from both education systems and highlighted the value of international collaboration in tackling shared educational challenges.
This was the second time a delegation from Upper Franconia visited CIEDix, following a smaller visit in October 2023. The increased number of participants on this occasion reflects the growing interest in Galicia’s approach to educational innovation.
