On 12th June 2024, José Andrés Echevarría Zuazo, Director of the Centre for Innovation in Educational Technologies (CITED) of Cantabria, visited the facilities of the Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation (CIEDix). This visit reinforces CITED's commitment to its mission of driving digital transformation in the educational community of Cantabria through the implementation of programmes, projects, and strategies for educational and technological innovation.
This visit follows a prior one to CIEDix last May by a delegation including the Director General of Educational Centres and Infrastructure and the Director General of Quality and Educational Equity and Academic Organisation of Cantabria. The interest generated during the initial visit highlights the importance of establishing alliances, sharing experiences, and resources between institutions from different Spanish autonomous communities.
During his visit, Echevarría Zuazo had the opportunity to explore the CIEDix facilities and specialised equipment, as well as meet the dedicated team. This team has distinguished itself through its dedication and expertise in developing innovative educational initiatives and projects, such as Lenzo and Ágora Dixital.
Such meetings are crucial for strengthening cooperation networks and ensuring that best practices and technological solutions are widely shared and adopted. The collaboration between the Centre for Innovation in Educational Technologies of Cantabria and the Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation promises significant progress in the digital transformation of education in both regions, benefiting students, teachers, and the community at large.
