The Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation (CIEDix) participated on 11 December in Braga, Portugal, in the Kick-Off Meeting of the Erasmus+ KA210 Full STEAM Ahead! project, a European initiative focused on improving the quality, inclusion and equity in STEAM education, as well as strengthening transnational cooperation between educational centres and specialised organisations.
The project, coordinated by CIEDix, will run for 24 months and involves partners from Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria and Croatia, including educational institutions from different stages, organisations specialising in educational innovation, and entities from the scientific field.
Full STEAM Ahead! aims to design modular, accessible, and ready-to-use STEAM educational resources based on active methodologies, practical learning, and the use of digital resources. The project places special emphasis on gender equity, promoting girls' interest in STEAM disciplines through female role models and inclusive materials.
This initial meeting marked the beginning of a strategic project that reinforces CIEDix's commitment to educational innovation, inclusive education and the development of key skills for 21st-century students.
