The Galician Minister of Education, Science, Universities, and Vocational Training, Román Rodríguez, welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Universities of the Cantabrian Government at the Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation (CIEDix). The delegation is visiting Galicia to gain in-depth insight into the Galician educational system, with a particular focus on its approaches to quality and equity.
The Cantabrian delegation includes Reyes Mantilla, Director General of Educational Centres and Infrastructure; José Luis Blanco, Director General of Educational Quality and Equity and Academic Organisation; and members of the Technical Unit for Educational Quality, Eduardo Obrado and Araceli Ramírez.
Their agenda also includes visits to several rural schools in the province of Pontevedra, as well as technical meetings with senior staff from the Directorate General of Centres and Human Resources.
