On 16th July 2024, the Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation (CIEDix) received a visit from the Commission for Cultural, Educational, and Scientific Exchange between Spain and the United States of America, more commonly known as the Fulbright Commission.
The purpose of this institutional visit was to explore new opportunities for collaboration and strengthen the ties between the Fulbright Commission and the Regional Ministry of Education, Science, Universities, and Vocational Training of Galicia.
The Fulbright Commission delegation was led by Alberto López San Miguel, Executive Director, and Leticia Ibáñez Bustamante, Programme Head. During the meeting, key topics were discussed, including academic and cultural exchange programmes, as well as the implementation of new technologies, equipment, and methodological approaches in education.
This institutional meeting highlights the importance of joint efforts to promote educational excellence and the internationalisation of knowledge.
