The meeting between the staff of INIBIC and CIEDix took place on June 2, 2023.
A delegation of members from INIBIC, the Biomedical Research Institute of A Coruña, constituted by the Consellería de Sanidade, SERGAS, the Universidade da Coruña, and the Fundación Profesor Novoa Santos, visited CIEDix with the aim of strengthening ties with secondary education.
Considering the common goals of both institutions, the focus was on experiences and actions aimed at promoting scientific vocations, fostering STEM, as well as soft skills for cooperative and multidisciplinary teamwork among students in Galician educational centers. In this regard, INIBIC offers scheduled visits for students in 1st and 2nd year of Baccalaureate with a focus on the science field.
