In a meeting held on June 2, 2023, Naír Carrera Martínez, member of the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission, and Tommaso Dalla Vecchia, Development and Advocacy Manager at European Schoolnet, visited CIEDix to explore collaboration opportunities in the educational and technological field.

Naír Carrera Martínez is a key member of the central team of the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission, playing a crucial role in implementing and coordinating digital education initiatives. Her experience at European Schoolnet and involvement in projects like SELFIE and the Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027 showcase her leadership at the forefront of digital education in Europe.

Tommaso Dalla Vecchia, with experience since 2012 at European Schoolnet, stands out for his commitment to transforming education in Europe through the effective use of technology. As the Development and Advocacy Manager, he collaborates closely with Ministries of Education, the education industry, the European Commission, and schools throughout Europe. 

During their visit, they explored CIEDix's facilities and gained firsthand knowledge of its projects, emphasizing the importance of fostering collaborations in the educational and technological realms.
