The new corporate website model for Galicia’s public schools was presented today at CIEDix, at an event attended by the Regional Minister for Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training, Román Rodríguez; the Director of the Galician Agency for Technological Modernisation (Amtega), Damián Rey; and the Director-General for Educational Planning and Innovation, Judith Fernández.

Jointly developed by CIEDix and Amtega, the new model aims to provide a simpler, more functional and accessible user experience, adapted to different electronic devices. It is designed to make it easier for families and students to access information, while also simplifying content management for schools.

The new platform provides a common, clear and recognisable structure, with dedicated sections for notices, news, calendars and direct access to key educational services, while retaining the flexibility each school needs to preserve its own identity and showcase its projects and initiatives.

The new model will also improve security, stability and technological sustainability, reducing the platform’s technical complexity and making it easier for school management teams and staff responsible for maintaining the websites to manage them.
