On 16th October 2024, the Centre for Digital and Educational Innovation (CIEDix) received a visit from representatives of the government of Upper Franconia in Bavaria, Germany, regarding education. During the meeting, various actions related to educational and digital innovation, as well as inclusion and attention to diversity, were addressed, in addition to the role of educational inspection.
The CIEDix welcomed technical and educational advisory staff from the regional governments of Castilla y León, Aragón, Madrid, and Extremadura during the first International Congress Observa_Acción, focused on the training of good educational practices, on October 4, 2023.

We foster partnerships and collaboration with educational institutions, universities, public administrations, companies, and scientific, technological, cultural and social organisations. We take part in national, European and international programmes, networks and consortia, promoting knowledge exchange, study visits and the development of joint initiatives.
With the aim of maintaining communication channels in cutting-edge research and innovation in education, the CIEDix held meetings with representatives of the main global learning management platforms and systems. Specifically, in July 2023, the CIEDix team had high-level meetings with Carles Aguiló-Collado, Technology Partner Manager of Moodle, and Martin Dougiamas, founder and CEO of Moodle.
We study, select and evaluate educational technologies, solutions and resources, both those already available on the market and emerging ones, in order to determine their usefulness, safety, accessibility and suitability for different teaching and learning contexts. We work with artificial intelligence, robotics, programming, maker culture and immersive technologies, as well as platforms and other digital tools and solutions.
We analyse trends, needs, evidence and outcomes in order to understand the challenges facing the education system and anticipate new scenarios and opportunities for improvement. We research and assess methodological and organisational models, teaching, learning and assessment processes, pilot experiences and proposals for educational transformation.
