Today, CIEDix hosted the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Regional Ministry of Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training and the Council of Galician Culture to develop a new digital educational project aimed at promoting knowledge of Galicia’s geography, landscape, literature and cultural heritage.
CIEDix hosted a follow-up and review meeting on the Peneira pilot study, a free online tool developed by the Galician Supercomputing Centre (CESGA).
Peneira makes it easy to collect field data and subsequently download it for analysis, promoting the development of school research and citizen science projects across a wide range of fields.

CIEDixLab is an initiative focused on the analysis, experimentation and evaluation of technological solutions for the educational sector, with a particular focus on those based on artificial intelligence.

The Xunta de Galicia and the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) have just signed a collaboration agreement for the development of the project AVATARES, an innovative initiative aimed at improving the educational support provided to students with chronic or long-term illnesses through the use of telepresence technology.
Full STEAM Ahead! is an Erasmus+ project under Key Action 2 (Cooperation between organizations and institutions), focused on educational innovation in the STEAM field.
Its main objective is the design and development of modular, accessible, and ready-to-use STEAM educational resources for the classroom, based on active methodologies, practical learning, and the pedagogical use of digital resources.
The Centre for Educational and Digital Innovation (CIEDix) participated on 11 December in Braga, Portugal, in the Kick-Off Meeting of the Erasmus+ KA210 Full STEAM Ahead! project, a European initiative focused on improving the quality, inclusion and equity in STEAM education, as well as strengthening transnational cooperation between educational centres and specialised organisations.
